Weight set

Does anyone know where I can get a good price on a weight bench and bar w/ weights? I think u have to buy them seperately, and I've been meaning to get one for a while. Also, which is better, rubber or metal weights?

The place where you can probably get them cheapest is at a garage sale. Rubber weights are better for the olympic lifts, while metal are probably better for things like benching and curling.

You could talk to local gyms and see if they have any old ones they are looking to get rid of.

Keep an eye on the classifieds or craigslist. Someone is always trying to dump a set.
