14'2 from far away

had a decent day, meet record but missed 15'1. Blew thew my pole first 2 jumps went to a 15'7 195 was a foot and a half over but my standards were to far back :( ill get it next meet :yes:

It looked awesome. I just don't really like the angle it was filmed at. It was hard for me to pull anything out of your vault. You get way higher than I do though.

Rockback once and go! Don't waste your physical and mental energy rocking back and forth like that at the start.

You are dropping the pole tip too early and running with it horizontal the whole time. Keep the tip up longer so that you can maintain your running posture. Read some of the posts that altius and agapit have in the Advanced forum about the pole drop.

yea i do need to keep the pole up longer, makes my feel more confortable with it down before plant but i have to fix that. i should get a better video soon thats a better angle.

The angle isn't great but it looks like you are a bit under because you don't really stay behind the pole at takeoff, and then you could definitely swing further back to finish the vault, otherwise a pretty solid looking jump.
