BTW Thanks for filming and posting her jumps, Becca. I really appreciated your help at the meet.
Raise the grip, great take off, more active arms at the take off and during the whole jump and she will swing better. Show her jumps of you and Joe and that will help with her plant and swing. In my opinion, if she tries to plant like you and Joe she will probably look like Bubka because it will split the difference. Sometimes when you visualize one jumper (Dial), you end up looking like another jumper (Bubka) and are very successful.
Good luck

Hey Tim? Is she under? On all of the jumps, take a look at where her right elbow is from plant to inversion. It's hard to explain but it almost looks like from her elbow to her wrist the line is parallel to the pole just after takeoff, instead of being in a "high plant" position with the right arm extended more. Take a peek and see if you know what I'm talking about. If not, let me know and I'll try to do a better job of explaining. Later........Mike
P.S. Just thought of another explaination, when she takes off it almost looks like she is "tucking' the pole under her right arm. (hope that doesn't confuse the issue further).
