Chicago Area Vault Competition

Unread postby StixNStonz78 » Mon Jun 27, 2005 11:57 am

July 2nd North Central College is hosting a pole vault competition. See link for details. The meet is being held in conjunction with the Naperville ribfest... so after you jump you can walk over to the festival and get some good food.

Hey, thanks for hosting such a fun and helpful meet. I had a great time vaulting mysef and watchign the elite level vaulters go. Anyone in the chicago area who couldn't make it this year should deffinately come next year. It's worth the trip.

It depends on which level you're asking about...I wasn't able to watch the elites though, I was ticked, however, i did get to compete and it was a hell of a lot of fun!! I definately recommend everyone who can to do it!

The travelers from Missouri would like to thank Coach Tim Winder, his wife Margo, and Coach Justin Tabour for the hard work that they did for this vaulting event. We had FUN. There were lots of vaulters, Music, Raffle items, and lots of vaulting at every level. This was a nice facility, a well run meet with a bunch of CLASS ACT VAULTERS. It will most definatly be on our calendar for next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was worth watching that 9 year old son of the coaches vault for about 5 hours by himself - an energizer bunny - that kid is TOUGH. LOL Thanks guys your hard work was worth the effort. See you next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
