My coach is part of the negotiations about the marks counting at Reno. He told me that one of the main arguments that is being presented is that the throwing area at many indoor venues is in a completely different building, and why can't having the PV area someplace else be any different? It all depends on how convincing they are and how generous the committee is feeling I think.
They act like we are running downhill into a 15" box or something.

So they didn't make a final decision at the NCAA meetings last week? :confused:

Just talked to Dave today. The Committee still has not made a decision, and at this point it looks like one will not be made until after New Year's.

Yeah sorry about that, I didn't have anything new to report so I didn't make time to get to a computer. I think that the people who are against counting the marks really don't want to budge. Its going to take some serious convincing.
