Victoria International on June 11th

Unread postby Powervaulter » Thu Jun 08, 2006 5:30 pm

Hi everyone,

I know that this is kind of last minute, but I checked the startlist for the Victoria International, and we only have 3 people in it. On top of that, they're all Canadians... which means that since this is no longer international, they are cutting the prize money down to:

$300 for 1st, $200 for 2nd, and $100 for 3rd

If we could get a US vaulter, this may be increased to:

$1000 for 1st, $750 for 2nd, $500 for 3rd, and $250 for 4th

Any takers? PLEASE?!!! This meet is awesome... the pole vault is right in front of the grandstand, with 5000+ in attendance. I PR'd there 2 years ago. If you're interested, check the website:

I hope this generates some interest.

I wanted to be there so bad, but I couldn't find a way to get my poles there.

what size poles do you jump on?
...success is doing what you can do well and doing well whatever you can do
