I think his poles are already headed for Jamaica. That tape job looks too much like the country's flag.

Man, Brad is holding quite low on that pole, must have started blowing through it or need some extra stiffness.

Dude, you did not just say that. :eek:

You don't grip down if you're blowing through, or you'll blow through even worse with the added pole speed. If anything you grip up to slow the pole down.

probably had more to do with the crappy conditions and it only being a qualifying round
