I was wondering, does anyone know if they will have the complete live feed broadcast available on the net this year as they did in 2008. It was complete, every jump, every athlete. The way a PV nerd like me wants to see it. It was like a long Flash movie and was available for a few weeks after the Games ended.
Anyone know?

NBC has already stated that if there's a camera on it, it'll stream.
In '08 there were at least 3 cameras at the pits in qualification and finals, so expect a lot of goodness like then. There most likely will not be commentary but they did occasionally keep up with graphics on who was up and standings.

You mean we might be able to watch the vault without Dwight Stone telling us "his plant foot was off" ? How will we stand that?

To have access to these feeds, you must have an account with your TV provider AND you must be subscribed to CNBC and MSNBC. Then you can login in to watch.
This link will provide the details.

If you don't personally subscribe to those channels, you might check with someone who does. Some TV providers allow their subscribers to "allow" one or two additional logins at no cost.

I have Direct TV at home and I downloaded the NBC Olympics and Live Extra apps on my ipad. When I picked a channel it asked me who my provider was. I clicked Direc TV and then put in my log in and pass word that I use to manage my account with and it took me right to the live feed. Hope it will work on the pole vault.

If you're in Europe, or can VPN into Europe, you can use http://www.eurovisionsports.tv. Don't need a log in, and it has live streaming (and replays of the live streams) of all of the events, as far as I can tell.
