Last weekend 17-years old Ivan Horvat set new Croatian national record in pole vault - 5.26m (17'3").
Ivan has gymnastics background, he is 1.83 (6 ft) tall, 70kg (155 lb). He is running from 14 steps (7 lefts), the pole was 4.90(16"1") 180lb, grip 4.60 (15'1"), at this jump standards were at 50 cm.

He got the medal from hands of two "ASK Split" T&F club kids: current Croatian PV record holder Zoran Radovanovic and his friend and the guy who once also held Croatian PV record - myself. :)
