British record
In the women's pole vault, Kate Dennison set a new British record of 4.45m, thereby achieving the European qualifying height.
"It's about time, I've been trying to get that record for about two years," Dennison said.
"I was vaulting really badly today but all the girls have been jumping well so I could feel them on my tail.
"The best thing is I've got the height for the Europeans and I think I can go higher."
