Toughest PV meet ever (London)

Unread postby big10jumper » Wed Aug 01, 2007 5:09 pm

Is it me or is the London sgp the toughest ever womens pv meet. the top 3 all-time vaulters ever are there.isi feov jenski. Also 6 of the competitors have made 4.70m this year.even the back of the pack is goa and bad at 64 and 66.this makes it the most competitve meet ever.If everbody shows and jumps it would be history making.look at the seeds
isi-5.01
feo-4.88
jens-4.88(maybe?injured)
pol-4.78
gub-4.70
hingst-4.70(added to list)
bad-4.66
murer-4.66
goa-4.64
Incredable, no womens meet has ever had this talent and statistically this is the toughest seeded meet ever.how rare is it to have the 3 best all-time performers in any track event.wow!just hope they all show and are all healthy to jump.

nope, actually DN Galan Stockholm will include Pyrek, Rogowaska, andJohnson and all the others minus Dennison. So, that field will feature the (3) best women ever

Isi isn't going to be at the DN Galan this year - http://www.allsport.ru/index.php?id=7097

Maybe she got tired of freezing her buns off in Stockholm in the middle of summer every year. :)

I am hoping your kidding about stockholm even comparing to london.
1) pyreck is not going, she is going to moscow meet with isi.
2)even if she was pyreck=4.71
rogowska=4.48
johnson=4.57(i am assuming chelsea which is not at this level.)
These 3 hardly add up to 5.01+4.88+4.88 but my guess is that you are quite biased towards 23rd ranked johnson.so what is your point?
6 girls have jumped over 4.70 in london this year and the 3 all time best which do not include rogowska5th,pyreck8th and johnson not even on the all-time list.

I could stand corrected though, rumor has it stuczinki may be pulling out of london hurt (back),but I don't know for sure
