Tunisian takes easy win in women's pole vault at All Africa Games

Tunisian pole vaulter Leila Ben- youssef scored an easy victory in the women's pole vault at the ninth All Africa Games on Thursday afternoon after clearing the bar at 3.85 meters.
Ben-youssef challenged 4.00 meters after an easy finish at 3.85 meters, but she failed after three attempts.
Egypt's Nesrin Eman won the silver medal by 3.60 meters and failed to fly over 3.70 meters after three attempts. Eva Thornton of South Africa got the bronze by 3.40 meters.
Only five pole vaulters from three African nations participated the event. The other two competitors were both Algerians, who finished in the fourth and fifth place respectively.
