Impressive performances in Saint Petersburg
11 January 2007
There were some impressive early season performances in Russia earlier this week when 2005 World University bronze medallist Natalya Lebusova (RUS) set an impressive personal indoor best of 6.70m to win women's Long Jump at the Saint-Petersburg Cup in Russia in her first meeting of the year.

The 28-year-old finished ahead of Olesya Kazanovskaya in second with 6.57m and Anna Nazarova, who placed third with 6.52m.

Aleksandra Kiryashova cleared 4.40m in the women's pole vault and Yuliya Kondakova clocked 8.19sec in the women's 60mH.

On the men's side, Aleksey Dmitrik cleared 2.24m in the men's High Jump. Ruslan Gataullin achieved 7.82 in the men's Long Jump.
