Ecker passes to 5.91.

Mesnil up. If he clears he will tie Brad.

Becca, heading back to the track...had to run an errand at the press center.

Mesnil has big height but comes down on it.

Brad Walker has the definite lead! If anyone wants to beat him they will have to clear 5.91+. Certainly many here are capable of that though...

Pavlov, same thing. Doesn't quite time up with the pole and hits it on the way up.

A lull in the competition means lots of video time for Lobinger.

He bails out and misses!

5.86 would be a SB for Lobinger.

21:18 : Walker remains the only clearance at 5.86m in the pole vault, though we're on second attempts now. Averbukh, Ecker and Otto have passed, of course, so they'll continue as well.

Mesnil clears! Pretty nice jump. He is pretty close on the way up but he does not touch it.

That moves him into second place. A season best.

Hooker passes his third attempt!!
