Averbukh clears on his third! What a great competition

That is a SB for Averbukh.

Mazuryk misses his third and is out. Only 11th place but a new PR so he can't complain too much.

Video of Averbukh showed a a clean jump but not much height on it.

Lobinger looks like he has a pretty slow swing... but he makes it!!

this competition is incredible. Some of the best jumping that i've ever watched. I dont know if so many people have been over 19 feet in the same competition ever. Maybe... but still, it's amazing. Might it take 6m to win?!?

Da Silva misses his third, but he had a great day.

So 3 athletes out and 9 remaining. 8 have cleared 5.81 and Hooker passed.

Walker and Otto will pass 5.86

The commentators say it is perfect weather... I would love to see another 6 meter jump! We all know Hooker is due, and there are several other 6 meter vaulters in the field.

Just kidding, now it looks like Averbukh and Otto are passing, and Walker changed his mind.

Ecker up first, Hooker third. These are the only two vaulters with no misses.

21:00 : The pole vault bar is now at 5.86m. Averbukh and Otto are passing; Ecker is up now. Mazuryk, Yurchenko and da Silva are now done, so we're down to nine vaulters, seven of whom will attempt this height.

Lukyanenko misses his first atempt at 5.86. He has already had 2 PRs today.

Hooker up for his third jump of the day... if he makes he takes the lead. If he misses he opens the door to everyone else.
