Pauli clears, all the Americans are in so far with no misses.

Dossevi and Korchmid miss, Lukyanenko and Bukhalov make.

Pit A has had no misses at 5.55!

Rans has the first miss at 5.55 on Pit A, while Lewis, Sawano, and Balner miss on Pit B.


20:03 : Both pole vault bars are at 5.55m now. Daichi Sawano of Japan has attracted most of the crowd to the north end of the stadium, but on his first attempt his hands slid down the pole and he crashed into the pads.

Pavlov clears on his first as does Hartwig. All of the Americans are over 5.55 with no misses.

Pit A looks like it will be moving faster, not sure if they will make them wait before going to 5.65, since they will get their sooner.

Rans and Clavier miss their 2nd attempts at 5.55.

Mesnil, Ecker, and Hooker will pass 5.65

Pit A is done at 5.65. Walker will also pass 5.65.
