Gio jumps 5.60 to win Coast Open Track and Field Classic

Costa Mesa- While competing in windy conditions, Mexico's Giovanni Lanaro cleared 5.60 (18- 4 1/2) to win the Coast Open Track and Field Classic pole vault. Lanaro has close attempts at 5.80 (19ft. 1/4). The competition was held at Orange Coast College in Southern California.

His next competition will be the Mt. SAC Relays, where is challenges Olympic Silver Medalist Toby Stevenson.
