question about Dana Ellis at olympics

Unread postby GirlPoleVaulter87 » Mon Feb 21, 2005 3:38 pm

My coach and I were watching the Olymipcs Coverage and we were wondering if Dana lets go and regrips her pole.
I think she lets go with her bottom hand a grips it above her top hand

Is this illegal or did the officials just not see it?
"Let's launch over it!"

I have changed a lot in Dana's vaulting, and the first thing that we changed was her grip. She used to always change her gripping of the pole. We finally got her holding the same now, but she might sometimes go back to her old style. You would have to ask her though!
