It might be a silly question...but what are the pros/cons with drinking raw eggs? My strength coach told me to mix a few in with my protein shakes, but I am kinda worried about it.
What do you think? Who does it? other than Rocky Balboa

You're right, salmonella and food poisoning are definite cons.
My freshman year one of my teammates came running into a track meet and told us that she had just had a whole glass full of raw eggs for breakfast. I told her that I hoped that it would taste just as good the second time around.

Pretty old school, which isn't always bad, but pretty dangerous when you can just cook em' and eat em' too !!!
If you are having a quality protein that is pretty much the same, you could add some essential fats or fatty acids if you wanted that part of the egg...I thing the yolk has some in it....

Gross. Buy some protein powder to mix in with the shake and eat your eggs cooked.
Make a big batch of hard boiled eggs and they are quick and easy snacks.

rocky does it. as long as you're as tough as rocky, you'll be fine. plus i pretty much try to live my life after the Italian Stallion, and you should too. I also have a cast iron stomach that can handle raw chicken and beef. mmmm.
