Best videos for new students to watch

Unread postby kwhit3 » Tue Dec 05, 2006 12:36 pm

Hello all,

This is my first post but I have spent literally hours reading as much as I can but I feel I have barely scratched the surface of the information on this site.

I am coaching a few HS girls at a gymnastics school and while they are progressing nicely I'd like for them to see some videos of vaults so they can get some mental images to rely on. So, my question is what is the best video for them to watch. I'm not saying the best instructional video, but more entertainment/enjoyment value. These girls are not hardcore vaulters (at least not yet, but I'm working on them) but I'd like them to have something they can visually relate to and I'm very interested in all of your opinions.

Thanks.

"entertainment/enjoyment value"

Definately go to www.neovault.com Mr. Brown definately has good videos you can order for 40 bucks a pop... well worth the money though as they have many good example vaults!

Also many videos on www.stabhoch.com that can be very helpful as well!

Good luck you!

It might be a better idea to drive to Jonesboro to watch Earl coach. It's only 90 miles.

The video's I would recommend are C'Mon, Bring It, or The Reckoning. All three of these you can order straight from Neovault and have in DVD in less than 4 days after you order! They are great tools for showing good vaulters as well as great videos for entertainment and vaulting! I think it is well worth it...

OK, so I bought all three NeoVault DVD's. Couldn't decide on one.

The problem I am now having is I can't stop watching them. Remember I bought them for my girls to watch? Hmmm. They may never see them!

They get me really pumped up!
