Losing weight is burning more calories than you consume.

Eating healthy will help you feel fuller while consuming less calories, and fill your body with important things you may be lacking like vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein.

Eating more often will help you burn more calories.

Hopefully as a pole vaulter you are doing some kind of sport or training right now, so the exercise should be taking care of itself.

quick answer yes. long as you dont sit on your but and do nothing all day. Diet doesnt work without exercise which is why i including the whole after practice part in my diet. But ya is you do some physicaly activity and eat healthy youll lose plenty, assuming you actually have weight to lose. If you wind up gaining weight its all muscle mass.

in response to the other article just posted about dietimg. if you have a hard time staying away from sweats the healthiest candy you can have is dark chocolate. believe it or not dark chocolate is actually pretty good, especialy wen compared to other candies. it may not taste the best at first but hey at least its sugar and youll get used to the taste. another thing thats sweat and not to bad for you is honey.
hope this helps all you with a sweat tooth.
