eat breakfast, just b/c it's good for you. protein is great, too, I gained 10 lbs of muscle using protein bars & shakes. but I don't think that's your problem.
and i did over 500 before the coach stopped me, and he said i was the only person doing them correctly.

if you can do 500 situps *correctly* at a time, your muscle size/stregnth IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM. I have pretty sweet abs, and I could probably only do around 150-200 situps at a time. I don't think you're going to get more muscle, which means the only other option is fat. eat lean for the next month-

Breakfast
whole grain, granola type cereal w/ 1% milk
juice
low-fat sausages

Lunch
turkey & cheese sandwich w/ lettuce
fruit
low-fat yogurt
protein shake

Snacks while being active
Protein bars
water or energy drinks
fruit

Dinner
Lean meat (chicken, lean beef or pork chops)
veggies
1% milk
something carbs
SMALL desert

And keep working out. If that doesn't work, it's not gonna happen.

Good luck!
