A bad 3 weeks

Unread postby osjb44 » Sat Apr 15, 2006 9:44 pm

i started to do really bad 2 weeks ago (somewhat due to the time change, and an angry coach on a monday), and now i am just vaulting horribly. I was expecting to get a new pole, but it came broken, and now i am back onto my old one, and i'm still waiting for the next one to come. It's like i'm running off of my step, and my technique is gone. Has anyone else had this happen to them, and is there a good way to get out of such a bad streak?

Bad streaks come and go, as well as good ones. Right now what is the best thing to do, is to put money in the bank by continuing training, dont vault more than 3 times a week. I've had a slump myself recently, but i know if I stay on the plan and keep where im going, everything will work out fine. Stick with it and dont give up!

Take a step back, enjoy life, keep things simple and in perspective (be positive), listen to your favorite music, have fun pole vaulting, enjoy life with your friends and teammates. You are in control of how you feel, not anyone else.
