I remember this tape - I bought the VHS version way back when at Bill Falk's camp. I pretty much wore it out. Scary thing - I think I can actually remember all the jumps - the order might be a bit out of whack but here goes...

Title was a little misleading as there were 15 contestants inthe final - you don't get to see any of Fehringer (Austria) or Kolasa (Poland)
Watching Chmara's reaction after he NH's is pretty cool. Also seeing a teenage Istvan Bagyula was kinda funky. The sun was in back of the vaulters that day so they were completely blinded after clearing the bar. On one of his misses he landed on the bar which shot up into the air. When he landed on the mat he was compeltely blinded by the sun and never saw the freefalling crossbar which nearly took off his head...
The music it advertises is Van Halen's "Higher and Higher" played OVER AND OVER AGAIN until the tape ends. I ended up dubbing my own music over it.
The tape was awesome - i wonder how the DVD transfer is? I'd be willing to give a crack at getting it as long as none o' youse bids against me
