Who's everybody's favorite?

Unread postby rebelvaulter » Wed Jan 14, 2004 7:47 pm

:star: Hey I was just wondering who everybody's favorite vaulter is and why, guy or girl. I just came back from reno and got to talk to most of the elites, and found out some of them are pretty cool. Sorry if this is an old thread... Im new here and I couldnt find anything recent about this. :star:

On personality, and his efforts to help support my club, plus a load of talent:

Jim Davis is a really cool guy, and anyone that can chew while they vault, I gotta give the guy some props.

:star: I would have to agree with lonestar, Tye Harvey has the best personality and he is always fun to watch.... I just wish I could have seen more of him at reno, and we wasnt wearing the socks! I also like Derek Miles and Russ Buller. I think Derek is the best we have right now and the most consistant. Russ is an awesome vaulter and the hottest one out there by far :D . Plus, both of them are really nice and down to earth. :star:

Tye used to post on here, back in the day :P

A lot of the elites read the board, even if they don't post. I am sure they all appreciate your comments.

Most all the elites are so cool, it's hard to pick a favorite. They're all extremely talented as well. I really enjoyed some great conversation in Reno with Jeff, Derek, Dean, Tye, Jill S., Kellie, Scott, Russ, and others. Jeff was even cool enough to help me coach one of my guys and gave him some great advice which helped him with getting a new pr. It's a great community of really unselfish people. Too bad most other pro athletes won't follow suit.

Eric Eshbach also chews while he vaults. One of the first times I met him he hid behind me from the judges at NC's so he could throw a dip in.
