If I misunderstood the Miles comparison, forgive me. I might have missed the boat on that one. It wouldn't be the first and it sure won't be the last, Ha.
The greatest gift I ever received was the look on a young vaulters' face after setting a PR!
i would say any vaulter who is considered a short person, is a short vaulter and the other way around for tall guys. its not how tall u are it how high u jump.
does anyone remember jacob davis? 6'4" or maybe taller, not much speed. but his plant was amazing, and his grip was high. i don't know his pr, but it was way up there.
John, how the hell are ya?? Geoff Fairbanks here. Good to see southland old timers around!!! hahahah! For those of you who dont know, John was a dec/vaulter from Sam Houston State who was pretty damn good!
Retain faith that you will prevail in the end, regardless of the difficulties.
Man, it's good to hear from you. What are you doing now? Where are you located? Are you still jumping? For those of you that don't know, Geoff kick my rear end his freshman year (if I remember it right), and was/still is a great vaulter himself.
