Well, from what I understand, the guy who runs the Paris meet is a horses a**. Besides, I bet its not as easy as just saying it to someone and it will get changed. Try it next time you find a bad box. Go to the official or coach and tell him that it needs to be changed. Chances are you will be called a cry baby and they will tell you that everyone has to jump with it. I had trouble with my new track facility we are building here. I tried telling the construction guys the boxes were set wrong and they told me I didn't know what I was talking about.

Think about it guys, is it really suprising. These are the same people that are telling us that 2 inch peg and rounded ends are good for the sport and the best way to go. I suggest you watch closely at the WC and see if guys are getting stuck or not quite catching the poles, kind of like when your pole hits the back of the pads really bad.
