Yes. I'm just as bad. I'm hoping when I have a little more experience at these meets I will settle down. :P

I hate to give the officials any more trouble than I already do. All that measuring and remeasuring is extra work and slows down the competition for everyone else. However, any measuring done for me in Boston will be a miracle. I am mostly worried about getting hurt. Can you believe anyone this anxiety ridden pole vaults? And, I'm twice as bad with the hurdles.


I wouldn't worry about informing an official about a rule, in the end I am sure they would rather officiate correctly and in this case the improper application of the rule could really hurt the athlete, both physically and mentally, and nobody wants that....

If I vault before you do (I jump Saturday at 2:00 pm) I will talk to them about the rule....
