Talkd to Chris Chappl of UCS spirit. He did confirm that reno counts as NCAA marks this year. They tied the vault summit to another meet going on in Reno.

I got the impression from Dave Nielson that Reno counting was not a done deal, despite now being part of the Silver State Games.

Honestly, I don't think anyone will know for sure until the coaches submit the marks.

So what is the latest with those marks? I have not seen them on the NCAA site. Is it safe to assume that they did not count?

Thanks Becca. I figured that it was on one of the many Reno threads. It sucks for those guys and gals but they should have time to repeat if not improve upon those marks. Best of luck!

It if not true simply due to the fact that they have counted in the past. I believe 2002 and before they always counted.

of course i could be making that up...

either way, congrats on the personal best, go out and auto, then the ncaa cant do crap to you.
