What about the elite/unattached vaulters? Who's gonna be there besides the college guys?

That's it. With the exception of last year, they quit allowing elites to compete. Occasionally they would let one in. Until '96, they had an elite open field but that went away in favor of all the B divisions.

They could certainly use them this year. Those fields are underwhelming to say the least. Only 6 of the A entries would've qualified for that division in previous years and half the A field would have had a tough time making the B division.

Starting height has traditionally been 5.00 to 5.15. Watch out for a slew of NH's.

I think Tye Harvey had some pull last year when he was working out at Texas but he is gone to California now, so no elites were allowed in.

Seems alot of the elites are going to California. I guess they're going there to train at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista.
