true.. but since when was it fair for us to jump in snow and rain until mid may. it was snowing here in virginia last week. some things balance out (although yes the west generally produces better vaulters). But the east can compete in anything. At penn relays last week i watched all three texas vaulters No height. and the conditions weren't even that bad.

I'm talking about the Mid-East. You guys in the East are doing great. With the Conference Champions rule you guys have 19. That almost doubles what the mid-east has produced thus far. We have ten. But I have faith in our boys. We should acquire some numbers in the next weekend. Oh yeah, I have to give major props to our girl Crystal Goldsmith for clearing a new personal record of 12'9" (3.85) I believe, which gives her a ticket to the regional meet for the mid-east girls. She just started jumping on 14' poles, and she is rockin some @ss. Kudos.

Correction... Crystal Goldsmith went 3.90m. I believe that puts her in a pretty good spot on our regional list. At abou t9th I believe, and the girl is ready to go higher. She had some really scary looks at 13'. Just a few weeks ago she finally broke the 12' barrier. Now 13'. She's nuts.
