I wonder how many attempts it took other jumpers to clear that milestone?
I wonder how many cleared it on their FIRST attempt?

I recall that Brad Gebauer had a double PR at the 2006 indoor big ten champs, jumping 5.40m and 5.50m both on first attempts.  I think his PR before the meet was around 5.30m.  It wouldn't surprise me if he made 5.50m on his first attempt ever!  I wish someone could confirm this one.
