Sacramento put together good bid packages to win those meets. Other sites put together better packages to host the meets in the future.

I am excited to see the meet move around, even though it decreases my chances of actually attending.

They don't just randomly pick the sites for big meets like these. The school has to want to host the meet. They put together materials to try and convince the selection committee why they should choose their site.

Maybe I missed it, but have the regional sites been announced?
Same goes for the Dii and Diii sites?

I don't know about 2008 and beyond, but the sites for 2007 are Florida, Mizzou, Drake and Oregon.
