Okay so I saw results for Dave (Central Michigan Vaulter) and they said that he jumped 17-5. There was also an article about how big a deal it was and how he broke some guys record at 17-4. I think it was a school record also. The confusing part is while the article and the results both said 17-5, the conference posting says 17-0 or 5.20m. Tracksharks listing also says 5.20m. And the jump is dated from this weekend. Wierd... Anyway I wanted to congratulate Dave for jumping a kick a** PR, regardless of what it is. I'm sure that the article and the results were correct, and trackshark just doesn't have it right. Congrats Dave. I'll see you at the conference meet.

John, I heard that it was in fact 5.21, not 5.31. Too bad.........that would have been a big time PR for Dave. Nonetheless, well done.

What do you mean by roll or bunch. I vaulted with Dave at a few camps in high school. Great guy, and glad to see his PR up at 17!!

Junior All-American John Russell (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton HS) placed second in the pole vault, his best finish at the league outdoor meet in two years. He had a best clearance of 16-00.75. The event was won by Central Michigan's David Jones who topped 16-06.75 for the win.

Dangit!!! I'm cursed! I cannot win that outdoor title. Oh well. I guess I'll try again next year.

Oh yeah, the post... I thought for sure you'd understand without me having to elaborate. Ah well, it's about whether or not your roll or bunch... your T.P.
