has anyone ever jumped there?
this weekend i competed in the alex wilson invite there and it was an extremely classy meet. tons of officials and ushers that were falling over themselves to make sure that you felt at home and that everything went alright. the vault official was one of the best i have ever had. nice elevated runway in the middle of a 300 meter track. inside the track is a 100 yard fake grass football field. if you get a chance to go there for an indoor meet ever you should.

jumped there 3 times. I really like the boards there. I like the roaming announcer they had there. one year we were there, Randy Miller(18' 5") was getting ready to jump, and the announcer had everyone get quiet and went on this big thing about how Randy was about to jump and to "imagine if you will, running down your driveway with a fiberglass pole and vaulting into a 2nd story window". The place gets dead silent, randy takes off way out, comes up short, starts to come down inthe box and yells "OH SH*T!!!!!" at the top of his lungs. classic....
PoleVaultPlanet is coming.....
