Looking for Beginners Vaulting Pole

Unread postby fitgolfdoctor » Wed Jan 12, 2005 11:08 am

I have a 13 year old son that attended his first pole vaulting camp this past weekend. He really enjoyed it! :)

I am looking for a great deal on a beginners pole (a good used one would be great). I am a disabled vet on a limited budget (doesn't mean much to anyone :)) and that is why I need a good deal, if possible.

If you have a pole or know any sources for what I'm looking for, would you please forward that info to me? My son is 5'3 and 105; the coach said he needed a 12-13' pole and over 110 - 120 lbs. I think he has some athletic ability for the sport. Last summer in a football camp he was timed @ 6 flat for the 40.

Thank you for your time.

in the future, can you please only post under one topic? I know that someone has replied to one of your other posts. I admire your enthusiasm for wanting to be involved in your son's vaulting. We need more parents like you involved in our sport.

thanks

you can check out http://www.polepeddlers.com for some good prices on poles. They might have what you need, and if they don't you can also post the pole(s) that you wish to have.

Go to www.altiusint.com You can get a new pole pretty cheap, and they're based in Midlothian, TX (Dallas area), so if you picked it up yourself, you would save a ton on shipping charges.
