Saw this on an auction site, someone in that area could get a good deal

Someone please correct me if I am wrong; BUT, are Carbon Weaves structurally sound? I am under the impression that this technology is not only outdated and no longer in use, but that the durability and integrity of the pole is questionable at best???
de-lamination failures???

I myself have broke two in my jumping career that were ten pounds over my weight, I have seen even my girl jumpers break them at weight. I wouldn't bet the farm on carbon weave poles that's for sure.

I've never heard of them delaminating. It seems like most of the weaves that were going to break easily did so after only a few jumps. Since these are all used, they're probably fine. Many vaulters have jumped on weaves with great success.
