Looking for old big poles in the Los Angeles area

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Tue Nov 27, 2007 12:17 pm

This guy in the Los Angeles area is looking for some old big poles. If you know of anyone that might have some old heavy Pacer IIIs or something that they are not ever going to use again, shoot him an email.

Contact Garth at gguessman@aol.com if you can help.

Hi,

My name is Garth, and I am need two 17+ foot poles. They don't have to be in good shape. I don't have a lot of money. I need them for a project I am building. Do you know where I can get them?

Sincerely,

Garth Guessman

I live in Los Angeles (Wilmington area near the harbor). I need two 17 to 20 foot poles for a project. They will not be used for vaulting, so they can be blems, or even damaged to a degree. I have been looking all day on the internet. The prices are crazy. I can pay more, but I am hoping to find someone trying to get rid of a couple of them for under a $100.

Garth

I need a total of two twenty foot uprights. I have a five foot base to set them in. I need at least a one foot overlap to secure it in. So a minimum of 16 feet should do. If I splice two short ones together, I could make a 16 to 20 footer out of two smaller ones. If I do that I will need a total of four short one. Any way I get 16+ feet will work, but 17 feet would be ideal.

Thanks for your helpfulness,

Garth

I think I have 2 15-6 175+ Pacer IIIs and a 16 or 16-6 175+ old bannana Cata-pole. I'm using two of them of what we call Tepee drills, and for penalties for mis behaving PV kids (they run a 400m holding at the end and the tips cant touch during their 400m or they repeat it. Funny eh? but I could use others perhaps. I'm in soCal.

Project huh? I know if ya lash 2-3-4 poles together it makes for a great device for retrieving model rockets stuck up very high in trees. Lol

drop a note and I'll check exact details on the poles

Good luck finding 17-20 foot poles!!!????!!!!
