So there have been a few efforts at websites where people can sell or trade poles, but I havn't seen one with much popularity. So basically I am asking if you would use an auction-type website which was set up similar to eBay (But only for pole vaulting!) Where you can auction poles/ pits, and other equipment, trade, or sell at whatever price. If you would seriously use it, let me know! Also let me know what other features you would like to see on a site like this, or any suggestions. I know I am selling or looking for poles all the time, so if there is any interest I would be willing to set this up. Thanks!
Adam
Would you use it??

i think it would help the sport as a whole. Personally I probably would'nt use it, but that's because my college has all the equipment I'll need for now. But once I graduate, I'll be needing my own equipment and having a place to go to get it would be awesome!
What we have here on PVP is a great start, but something more popular and highly used would be amazing!

Thanks for the opinion! Selling poles on eBay is great because of the organization and security, not to mention an auction is a pretty simple sales negotiation (highest bidder wins.. easy enough). The only problem is, a vaulting pole, pits, or any other vault equipment is extremely specific, and eBay is about the least targeted market you can get. In order to find poles you want, find more buyers or people to trade with, I think a vault specific sales site would be perfect.
