Does anyone have a list of all the hs 17 footers? i have the list from 18-3 down to like 17-2 or3, if you guys know of anyone who jumped 17 to 17-3 postem. in hs

i think illinois has had one. darren mcdounough jumped 17'3" for edwardsville high school back in like '91 or '92

Vaults in summer competition up until sometime in August DO count as high school marks. Having said this, here's two more:

Who am I thinking of? I could have sworn there was a 17'7 guy from LA back in the mid-late 80's...not Duplantis...I remember reading an article in an old rag (Track Coach maybe?) where he said his favorite drill was capping his pole from 4 steps and practicing driving the bottom and letting the pole reject him back onto the runway...
