I am certain Spencer will set the outdoor bar high early. Morrison and Jordon Scott both have the tools to go 18' this year. But there are many currently in the upper 16's already that could be there also anytime soon.

I had the privelege of watching Jordan Thull clear 16'0 at the first indoor meet of this year at Hillhouse in New Haven, CT. He's a senior from East Lyme, and when I see him at one of the many duel meets for outdoor, I'll try to get his permission to take pictures/video if anyones interested.

I would definetly say that scott roth is soaring ahead of most of the guy competition out there...and it doesnt look like anyone can put up a fight to him...his vaulting is great...and it doenst look like he is getting lower then normal...most of ca has been rain out latly which means less practice days..and we dont have indoor facilities, but even with the rain roth is over 16'7! i would have to say that i dont see anyone beating roth! Also allison stokke is looking way good..with already clearing 13' this season after injury last season..she is looking strong and ready to jump high in post season!

He held his own against a bunch of guys who competed in the Olympic Trials and jumped 17'5" on the open pit at Modesto (competing unattached, of course).
