Saturday, February 24th at the Arkansas State Indoor Championships, Spencer McCorkel and Stephanie Foreman both set meet records.

Spencer's progression was 15-4, 16-4.75, 16-8.75, 17-00.75. Very close attempts at 17-4.5. Only one miss at 17-00.75. The old record, that he held, was 16-8.

Stephanie's progression was 10-4, 11-00, 11-4, 11-8, 12-00.5, 12-6, 13-00.25. Had a couple of close attempts at 13-06.25. She only had one miss and it was at 12-00.5. The old record, that she held, was 12-00.

Great day of vaulting! Had several PR's including an impressive 14 foot jump from freshman Samuel Ewing. He PR'd by 11 inches. Another PR came from Jason Pelletier with a 14'08" leap. I'll post complete results as soon as they have them available.

LOL yea i meant nike, im so used to saying "see ya at reno!" haha. Yea guys, sammy is gonna be a monster when he gets older. Hes already about 5'9 5'10 165 and jumping on 14'9 165 poles gripping at 13'6. LOL hes a beast, great guy too. He is also averaging like 10 inches of PR per meet this season, so should be about 19'6 by outdoor nationals :P.
