I had never even heard of her before... supposedly she jumped 12-7.25 in Reno.

Washingtonville pole vaulter Stephanie Duffy ranks fourth in the nation with her Reno Summit jump of 12 feet, 7¼ inches.

But the results from Reno definitely say she jumped 11-0 there.

Her 12-7.25 came from the Boston University Terrier Invitational on 1/26/2007

Every year i saw her in NY she had improved so much. Congrats!! Maybe the article got it wrong, and she said her "PR was 12'7.25 and that she had also jumped at reno" and they misinterpretted it. Anyway, good to see someone back in NY getting those hieghts, congrats!!
The greater the challenge, the more glorious the triumph

I jump with Stephanie at the Warwick Pole Vault Center and she has improved so much in the last few months. Coach Hugh Cauthers and Coach Tim St. Lawrence have done a great job with both Duffy and LaChance (who I believe has been jumping for only a few months) as well as all of the vaulters that go there.

Oh, and the facility is pretty cool as well...Its on the second floor of an old barn.
