CHARLESTON -- Greenville senior pole vaulter Sandi Morris cleared 12 feet, eight inches in the pole vault at the South Carolina Track and Cross Country Coaches Association Coaches Classic at West Ashley.

Her mark ranks in the top five nationally.

The state record from 2003 is 12 feet, six inches (Sara Young, Thornwell).
