Re: 14ft 200lb for sale in MI

I'll get a shot of the pole in the morning and post it along with flex. I'm certain picking up the pole would be cheaper then shipping. Shipping generally runs $75+...I'd have to check. A tank of gas would get you up here to get the pole and back. I will be in Ypsilanti, Mi(1hr 45mins away from you)...

14ft 200lb for sale in MI

I had a vaulter who I thought was going to jump on this. He didn't so I'm stuck with a 14ft 200lb Pacer. Nobody has taken this on a full approach. Aside from taping it and maybe a half dozen pop-ups, this pole is brand new. I'm asking $325 plus shipping from 48837 (Grand Ledge, MI)

We could. Good suggestion. I will take a look at those materials too. Thanks!

Good Material for area surrounding pit?

We currently jump on the largest landing pits USC offers with "grass" surrounding it. I say "grass" because the little bit of grass that grows during the fall and winter generally turns to mud during the Spring outdoor season. This obviously ends up in the pads (which ends up in ...

Re: Conveyor Belt Runways

Thanks for the input again! I coach at a high school across the street from me, so I have a pit accessable to me and my athletes anytime I want from early March until Mid-August. But I'm working towards constructing something that would work indoors. We do not have a functional box in the school, so...

Re: Conveyor Belt Runways

Thanks for the images and the insight into a different type of runway. I would like to know where those who have a conveyor belt runway got they're belts at?

A rollout is ideal, and I may have access to one, but I can't afford buying one... conveyor may be the way to go.

Re: Broken box for state meet?

This entire situation boggles my mind. It amazes me how many coaches will allow their kids to jump on unsafe pits without a worry in the world. I had to fight at probably half the meets this year to get the standard bases or concrete area's properly covered. I was the ONLY coach who even mentioned a...

Re: Broken box for state meet?

In this instance I don't really think it is dangerous as it is a hinderance on the vaulters. Any hindrance ALWAYS brings with it danger. Crud. That's the runway my girl will be on. I know the Head Pole Vault Judge so I will talk to him. He is a good guy and will make it right. vcpvcoach.... don't w...

Re: Broken box for state meet?

I would say that is an illegal setup. You should be forced to use the North runway if the South runway box is broken. That would hardly be acceptable at a dual or invitational let alone the State meet....

A broken box is dangerous. Don't put this sport into a precarious position like that.
