The PV is the last event still going ... probably by 10-15 minutes now ... but the crowd is staying on.

Nope. A rather poor attempt this time, and the TV folks are going on about how she looks tired now.

They've got the camera right in her face while she's talking with Petrov. She does look a bit tired, but Petrov seems to be firing her up. She's gonna go for it.

Ohhhh no. A much better third attempt, but she brushed it off.

Still, I'm a whole lot happier about her form now than I was after Ostrava. :rose: :D

I'm pretty sure the top of the scoresheet looked like this. I'm positive about Isi's line, and I'm pretty sure about Feo's. I'm not really sure where Pyrek came in, but the commentators said all three had clean scores through 4.71.

Code: Select all

            451 456 461 466 471 476 481 486 491 502
ISINBAYEVA  -   -   o   -   o   -   xo  -   xo  xx
FEOFANOVA   o   -   o   -   o   -   xx- x
PYREK       ?   ?   o   -   o   xx- x

Isi's post-Paris quotes from AllSport.ru

This morning the folks at Весь спорт posted a long interview with Yelena by Natalya Maryanchik, the correspondent they’ve assigned to cover all this year’s Golden League meets. I’ll try to get that translated over the weekend, but in the meantime, here’s the much shorter piece that they posted this evening from after the competition.

Yelena Isinbaeva: My new world record is imminent!

Olympic champion pole vaulter Yelena Isinbaeva showed the season’s best result in the world – 4.91 m – at the second stage of the “Golden Leagueâ€Â
