Jumping in an oven!

Unread postby KYLE ELLIS » Mon Jun 30, 2003 3:05 pm

This weekend we went to the vault for Moa meet, it was awesome. It wasn't really hot out but it was on turf and geeez! It felt like 120 degrees down there. Has anyone else jumped in the middle of a turf field, and did it feel blazing hot?

We set up the pole vault on a raised runway on the astroturf at the Seattle International, but it was around 70 degrees and gorgeous :D

Indiana Football Camp in the Indoor practice field. It was indoors but all the big garage doors were open and no air conditioning. It was hottter in there than outside!
