yeah I'm just going off of what Juline told me. She said unless someother school blows him away, the Vols will be his place to go.

No not for sure. When she was alomost leaving we got a chance to sit down and talk and she said that it was between BYU and Arizona. But she said she doesn't like BYU because she wont be able to have as much fun there. I dont know what that meens but I sure hope she chooses here.

I sure like it here  I gave up everything I had going at Florida to get the chance to compete here. Florida would not give me that chance. I liked Gainesville, but I decided I liked pole vaulting more.

We have a lot of vaulters this year. Brad should do well for the guys, and we have a lot of girls that could do well. Fanni, Corrie and Kierney are all around 13' and we have some more that could be up there.

Really...what are the best DI and DII schools for FEMALE vaulters? To me you would take into consideration (as far as vaulting) the PV coach, what improvements do their good vaulters make---in other words, when they get a good vaulter, do they still improve?, the facilities, and what kind of scholarships do they give vaulters, how has their team done.....what kind of coaching turnover do they have in PV,..... Can you think of anything else? This would be of course, if they fulfill what you want educationally...your major, etc....

Arkansas State and Bell Athletics is great for a female vaulter. You potentially can train with 1 over 15, 2 over 14 and 2 over 13 ft and a handful of 12 plus. There is a wealth of experience at all levels to help you become a better vaulter. As for the schooling part, I am getting my master's at ASTATE and I think the professors are extremely helpful in my department.

Hey you Northwest Vaulters!

Unread postby CoachenField » Tue Oct 29, 2002 1:15 am

There will be a new coach to put on that list here at Portland State. I had built it up in a year at a D2 school but now I am here long haul. I got no vaulters - yet! But I will get them and they will fly high. I have coached both men and women and will continue to do so here. Give PSU a look and a chance because we will be the new game in town!
Besides Arkansas is pretty far from here!

I realize this is old information on this board, but I just found it and thought a point needed to be made. No matter what you may have been trying to say, You used the wrong method to get your point across.
