Everyone passes 5.51 except Kudlicka who makes on his first attempt. Bar goes to 5.61, the opening height for the big 4.

Kudlicka misses three times at 5.71 and is out. Bar goes to 5.76 and most are passing! These guys mean business.

Filippidis the only vaulter jumping at 5.76. This is a national record and PR if he clears it!

No luck for Filippidis at 5.76. Bar goes to 5.81, five vaulters remain: Walker, Otto, Mohr, Holdzeppe and Dilla. One American and four Germans!

5.81 is an outdoor PR for Raphael Holzdeppe of Germany, just under his 5.82i PR. He is 22 years old.

Brad Walker @SkyWalkerPV also over 5.81 on his first attempt! He jumped 6 meters for the 1st time at Jockgrim 2006, could we see another 6m?

5.81 for Brad is his best outdoor jump outside of Chula Vista this year.
