Wow! Check out this field...

Live Xs and Os will be here: http://www.diamondleague-zurich.com/en/ ... ole-Vault/
I assume in the US the meet will be shown live on UniversalSports.com, and I am sure some of you can dig up some free feeds.

I think it starts in a bit over an hour from now. I am going to be at Bible Study and miss most of it. Well I'll probably follow on my iPhone, but I won't be able to post the play-by-play, maybe some of you can do that.

1855 BST: Women's pole vault
Russian pole vaulting great Yelena Isinbayeva failed to medal at her second straight World Championships in Daegu, where she could only finish sixth. The world record holder may not be the force she once was but is still capable of matching the 4.85m cleared by Brazilian Fabiana Murer, who equalled her lifetime best in taking South Korean gold.

German Martina Strutz upstaged her Diamond League leading compatriot Silke Spiegelburg to win silver in Deagu, with Spiegelburg unexpectedly finishing way down the field in ninth. Veteran Svetlana Feofanova took bronze to claim a fourth World Championship medal and leads the charge.

Looks like Jenn missed winning the overall Diamond League by one point! How much $$ is that? Too bad she was sick/injured and missed most of the early meets, she easily could have won the whole thing.

Overall seemed like the meet was kind of a bust. Bad weather? Or just post-World Champs slump? I'll have to see what quotes there are from Isinbayeva, has she run out of excuses yet? Did anyone see video?
